Continental competitions

Your save world includes continental knockout cups. Each confederation represented in your save runs its own competition — UEFA, CONMEBOL, CONCACAF, AFC and CAF with 16 clubs, OFC with 8 — and on top of those there is the MFC Global Cup, a season-long bracket for human managers. Everything is knockout: there is no group stage.

How clubs qualify

The confederation cups take one club per country: your country's division 1 champion. Nothing else qualifies you — not the cup, not second place, not the size of your league. Countries fill the bracket in order of national tier, so stronger football nations place their champion first.

If a confederation cannot fill all of its places with champions, the remaining slots go to the highest-reputation division 1 clubs of that confederation, so a near-miss title race can still be rewarded. There is no secondary competition and no second route in: winning the domestic league is the only way to the continental stage.

The format

• Confederation cups — single-leg knockout from the Round of 16 to the Final (OFC starts at the quarter-finals).
• MFC Global Cup — up to 32 clubs, drawn from the highest-reputation human-managed clubs in the save; if the save has fewer than 32 human clubs, the best AI clubs fill the remaining places so the bracket always runs.
• One round per week, played on Sundays at 20:00 local time — which is exactly why league matchdays run Monday to Saturday.
• Every tie is a single match and there are no replays. A level score is resolved in favour of the stronger side, so the bracket always advances — you either win it on the day or you are out.

What winning pays

A continental trophy pays in manager XP(250 XP to the winning manager) and permanence: the competition and season are recorded in your club's palmares and celebrated with an inbox notification. There is currently no prize money attached to continental rounds — the value of qualifying is the trophy itself, the palmares entry and the reputation that comes with both.

That makes the continental stage the purest ambition in the game: you qualify by winning your league, and the only thing you can win there is the trophy.

Fitting it into the calendar

Continental rounds sit on Sundays, so they never clash with league fixtures. Each round is resolved on its scheduled Sunday, one tie, one result — a single-elimination run means one bad afternoon ends the campaign. Plan your season knowing the fixture list is fixed and the bracket waits for nobody.
