Sponsorship deals
The two sponsor slots, the weekly payments by division tier and how reputation scales the numbers.
Sponsorship is your most stable income stream, and it is simpler than the real thing: two slots — main and secondary — each holding one active deal at a time. A deal pays a fixed sum every week through the finance pulse for the length of its contract. There are no performance bonuses, no cup-run clauses and no continental qualification money: the upside of winning is reputation, and reputation raises your next contract.
What a deal pays
A deal pays on your club's level. The biggest main sponsor in your catalogue pays about 16% of the typical wage bill of your division every week and the biggest secondary sponsor about 8%; smaller brands in the same catalogue pay proportionally less. A club-reputation modifier then runs from 0.6× at reputation 0 to 1.4× at reputation 100, so a well-regarded club earns more than double what an unproven one gets for the same deal. In a strong football nation that is a few dozen a week in division 10 and tens of thousands in division 1.
The catalogue by division tier
- First division — NexaBank, Volta Energy and TechCore Systems for the main slot; GlobalAir, SpeedMax Cars and IronFit Sports for the secondary.
- Second division — City Brew and NordSport main; EasyBet and FreshFoods secondary.
- Third division — LocalBank and AutoShop main; MediaSport TV and TopGym secondary.
- Fourth division and below — TownShop and GreenPark Hotels main; SpeedPizza and Local Radio secondary.
The offers on your own Sponsors page already include your division, your reputation and the size of each brand — compare the number you are shown.
Deal length and signing
Deals in the top two tiers run for two seasons; the third and fourth tier deals run for one. Signing is instant — there is no negotiation round, the offer on screen is the offer. The list hides brands you already hold and slots that are already filled, so it naturally shrinks as you sign.
Reputation opens better doors
Your public reputation as a manager can promote you a tier: at a public score of 80 or above you shop one division higher than you play, and at 100 two divisions higher. A celebrated manager at a small club signs sponsors a small club normally cannot reach.
Cancelling has a price
You can cancel any active deal to free the slot, but the sponsor takes it publicly: your club reputation drops 5 points. Given the reputation modifier above, that discount lands on every future deal as well — walk away only when the slot is worth more than the penalty.
