On top of formation and mentality, ManageFC exposes four numeric dials, each 1–10. Together they let you craft a distinct identity without writing a single tactical instruction.
Pressing intensity
How aggressively your team closes down off the ball. Below 3 your team sits and waits. 5–6 is a coordinated mid-block. 7+ is high press.
Tempo
Speed of ball circulation. Low tempo (3 or below) plays patient possession, lots of recycling. High tempo (7+) plays quick, direct, fewer touches.
Width
How spread out your team is in possession. High width pulls opposition fullbacks wide and creates space centrally. Low width compresses play into the middle and overloads the centre. 3-5-2 systems usually want high width to use wing-backs; 4-3-3 with inverted wingers wants medium width.
Defensive line
How high your back line holds. Low (3 or below) sits deep, medium (4–6) is the middle ground, high (7+) pushes the line up the pitch.
