How the Online league works
Every manager with a career in ManageFC takes part with one club — the club of their career, exactly as it is. The squad, the line-up and the tactics are the ones they set in their own game; there is no separate transfer market or staff here, only seasons, divisions and matches. A club needs at least eleven players to take part.
The league is a pyramid. The top level is a single division of up to sixteen clubs, and every level below has twice as many divisions as the one above it. Each season the champions of every division go up and the bottom two go down; managers who join later start at the bottom. The first season was drawn by squad strength, so the most advanced careers began at the top, and divisions on the same level are drawn so they stay even.
Every matchday kicks off for everyone at 20:00 UTC. An hour before, the team sheets lock and each match is played on the game’s match engine with the squads and tactics as they are at that moment. In the game the matches are revealed minute by minute over fifteen minutes; the tables, the scorers and the results on these pages move once that window has closed.
The pyramid — season 1
