Open a new save in ManageFC and you will not find any club you know. No famous names, no real stadiums, no star players you have seen on television. Every club, every player and every stadium is generated from scratch for your world. That is a deliberate choice, and it is worth explaining.
A world that is yours
The first reason is the heart of the game. Every save is a private world, and a world generated for you is genuinely yours. Nobody else has your league, your rivals or your youth prospects. The wonderkid you find in your third season is not a name everyone already knows from a website of tips — he exists only in your world, and only because your scout found him.
With real players, the best signings would be common knowledge. With generated players, scouting means something.
Stories that are not written yet
Real football comes with its history attached: who is good, who is expected to win, who will retire next year. A generated world starts with clubs that have reputations and squads but no destiny. A small club can become a dynasty; a giant can collapse. The story is written by your seasons, not by the real-world news.
Names that fit their country
Generated does not mean random. Players are given names that match the culture of their country, so a squad in Portugal reads like a Portuguese squad and a squad in Latvia like a Latvian one. Leagues carry the name of their country and their place in the pyramid. Clubs have their own crests, colours, kits, stadiums and founding stories.
No licences, no imitations
The second reason is simpler. ManageFC is an independent game, and it is not affiliated with any club, league, federation or player. We do not want to imitate real clubs or borrow their identities, and we will not add real names or licensed kits. Any resemblance between a generated name and a real person or club is a coincidence.
That also protects you: nothing in your world can disappear because a licence expires.
What we take from real football
What we keep from the real game is its structure: league pyramids with promotion and relegation, national cups, continental competitions, a winter break, a transfer market, a youth academy, a board that expects results. The shapes of football are real; the names in your world are your own.
Making it yours
You add the final personal touch yourself. Your club's name, colours, kits and crest — designed in the badge designer — are the only real identity in your world, and they appear everywhere: on every screen, on your 3D stadium's centre circle, and next to your name when you comment on this blog.
