What's new: contracts, transfers, stadiums and two new mini-games
- #1
A big week. Here is what changed.
Contracts
- A new Contracts page in the Team menu shows when every contract ends, season by season, and your wage bill against the board's limit.
- Renewals happen at a negotiating table: the role you promise, the years, the wage, a signing bonus, a release clause and a yearly rise. A meter shows whether the player would sign, ask for more or walk away — and every answer reaches your inbox.
- With your head coach in charge, he renews the best players himself and keeps the squad at 23.
Transfers
- Signing a free agent and agreeing a transferred player's terms now happen at the same table.
- A transfer bid can be paid in up to three seasons, and you can offer the selling club a share of his next sale. Clubs weigh both: money later is worth a little less to them, a share of a young player's future a little more.
Stadium
- Every stadium level now looks its size: the ground you see seats the number of fans it says.
- Building works take longer the more seats they add.
Mini-games
- Two new games while time advances: Free kick (choose where your boot meets the ball to bend it round the wall) and Mascot hunt (hit your own club's mascot as he runs about). Both have their own global ranking.
Fixes
- Players no longer appear injured after they have recovered.
- Staff you hire no longer show up as available for other roles.
- Pages with sections have new, clearer menus, and the sponsors page works properly on small phones.
